Keltie Cheney graduated from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy in 2003. Since then, Keltie has worked in the private physiotherapy sector in Montreal and throughout the Halifax region, and has worked at One to One Wellness Centre since 2005.
Keltie’s expertise lie in issues of chronic pain, stiffness, motor-vehicle soft tissue injuries (acute and chronic), sports injuries, TMJ pain, and pregnancy-related pain and discomfort (pre and post natal), as well as work-related injuries and stresses. She also enjoys vestibular rehabilitation and implementing strategies for prevention of age-related health concerns such as loss of balance, arthritis, and weakness.
Keltie’s approach is to do a very thorough assessment, use gentle, hands-on treatment techniques, and educating the client on their issue and ways to treat it at home and prevent it from returning.
Keltie enjoys playing any kind of sport, especially hockey, tennis, and hiking, though she now fills her extra time playing with her two sons, which keeps her more active than ever!
